Do you believe in destiny?

October’s topic for our Blog-o-Sphere Think Tank group is: Do you believe in destiny?

My answer to that question is yes with this caveat…..it is our choices in life that determine our destiny.

Our life path, our destiny, is one we make by each choice we make.  Certainly unforeseen circumstances can put us on a path we would not have taken. However, we still have a choice even when the unexpected occurs.  When that happens, it is our decision, our choice, that will direct us again.

I believe we are guided, with encouragement, to help find our path, our destiny.  It depends on how tuned in we are as individuals to that guidance from the Universe.  Our inner voice, our intuition in tune with our Creator will instinctively know what we need to do to find our destiny.

When things fall into place easily, I know this is the right direction for me and I am being guided to the road that will help me find my destiny…the reason I came into this world.

I think we are all seeking our destiny.  If you look for it too hard, it will hide.  I have found the secret is to be open and receptive for guidance; I know it will come.  Have faith and give gratitude.  Listen and hear.  This is how I have found my pathway to my destiny.

To quote Merida from the Disney movie Brave, “Our fate lies within us, we only have to be brave enough to find it!”

  2. Exactly, exactly! You are right – again, we have much the same thought. 🙂 [Clearly, we were meant to meet! 😉 ]
    Love the quote from Brave – it is so, so true. For me , at least! Didn’t you post a image with that on it a little while back? 🙂
